In
this review I will feature some of the cremello stallions that I
have knowledge of and feel are great representatives of the
Tennessee Walking Horse Breed.
I couldn't get a good posed picture
that day as the horse was visibly upset . I think the horse is not happy in the AI
environment because when I saw him 2 years ago he was at home and was
easy going and friendly. We took lots of pictures. He is
definitely blessed with 2 agouti genes because he has never sired a
smoky black and to date has sired 23 buckskins from 5 bay mares and 18
black mares. He has sired 3 cremellos and 48 palominos and one
palomino out of a grey mare which has now turned grey.
I liked him. He is an awesome
looking horse and although he did pace a little he did walk and had a
beautiful canter. His personality was great. The ad pictures were of him
as a younger horse and I liked the maturity I saw in him in real life.

My next favorite stallion was
Chance's Sure Gold. He was a friendly stallion with an alert expression
and ears forward all the time with a natural gait at liberty and had no
sign of a trot or pace. He walked up a storm and then walked up to
Beverly and put his head down for petting. He didn't seem to have any
vices. Shipped semen available.
Favorite’s Cremello Ace is by the cremello
stallion, Favorites Cremello Chance, that broke his leg and had to be
put down. He is pasture bred right now but will start hand breeding. Ace
is a friendly laid back horse and comes up to be petted and loves
attention.
He was named Majestic Ivory
when I saw him in June 2003 at Circle M Farms owned by Thomas
Mears. He is a real
looker with a great disposition and moved nicely. Thomas Mears
has sold him to Eddie Dean Howland and I don't know where he is
currently located. He has Royal Ivory on both sides of his
pedigree and his first foal was a buckskin out of a black mare which
means he has at least one agouti gene. He was my favorite
stallion at the farm. Thomas gave us a grand tour of all of his horses and
I have to say that his herds of broodmares are truly exceptional. He breeds
for dilute colors as well as spotted.
Royal Ivory is my all time favorite cremello
stallion and he is a key player in my breeding program. Kenny's breeding
program for Ivory is a smooth efficient operation with affordable mare
care and very little outside expense except for the final ultrasound to
confirm if mares are in foal. I have bred all my mares to him
since 1997 and all have been exceptional foals and one mare has foaled 7
buckskins in a row.
