In
this review I will feature some of the perlino stallions that I
have knowledge of and feel are great representatives of the
Tennessee Walking Horse Breed.
He is an exceptional stallion with perfect
conformation, great disposition and he is homozygous for the agouti gene
which means he will never sire a smoky black or smoky cream foal.
He will sire mostly buckskins but will also sire palominos, perlinos or
cremellos. He is also compatible with the blood types of any mare
he is bred to. He was in
training this fall and has proven his ability to perform the natural
gaits expected of a plain shod Tennessee Walking Horse. I particularly
like his pedigree which includes those western bloodlines that hit the
ground walking. He should produce some fine foals with that ground
covering running walk and a great canter.
